Margaretta Days Festival at UMM Campus
sharing and teaching tasks from our past

Craft Fair

The 18th Annual Margaretta Days Festival Festival and Craft Fair sponsored by the Machias Historical Society will be held on the mall of the University of Maine at Machias campus on June 15, 2024.  The Festival celebrates Machias’ place in history as the location of the first naval battle of the American Revolution often referred to as the “Lexington of the Sea.”  We remember our early days of settlement and how our ancestors experienced life in the wilderness.  The Festival is free to attendees and the theme is reflective of colonial times.  Colonial garb is welcome but not required.  Enjoy the experience!

We welcome you,  artisans and crafters, non-profit organizations and food vendors who interpret many of the skills practiced by our ancestors, and who foster an atmosphere of industry and creativity!  The form below is an application to present or sell your wares and a contract for participation in the Margaretta Days Craft Fair.
